St James by bikeThe majority of the Pilgrims in the past use to walk as they had no other choice to reach Santiago de Compostela. However, if they had been able to have a horse, as the Lords, they would have made it to arrive as quick as possible. Nowadays, the bike has replaced the horse, althought we meet some on the way. Today, follow the Camino by bike has some advantages :

easy to make excursions away from the route and visit the interesting sites useful for shopping and getting around the bigger towns.
Nouvel Itineraire proposes a bike hire service along the Camino de Santiago. We propose a departure from Pamplona or Leon. We also customize this service from other cities along the Way of St James (consult us). We propose two possibilities : - bike hire + booking accomodations
